On September 21 and 22, a group from Braskem, formed by Entrepreneurial Leader Carlos Fadigas and by Vice Presidents from the company, visited institutions associated with the Development and Integrated Growth Program with Sustainability for the Southern Bahia Lowlands Environmental Protection Areas Mosaic (PDCIS). The initiative is supported by Odebrecht Foundation in partnership with the government, private initiative and civil society.

The programming included tours of the processing units for heart of palm, fish, manioc, fruits and corn starch. The group spoke with youth from the Casa Jovem State High School and Presidente Tancredo Neves Rural Family Home, which paid tribute to Braskem’s 10- year anniversary, singing the theme song for the campaign about the special date, called “Wave” by Antônio Carlos Jobim. The second day of the visit was marked by a dialogue focused on an exchange of experiences with Norberto Odebrecht, Chairman of the Fundação Odebrecht Board of Trustees.
