On June 28, approximately 150 people participated in more than one module as part of the 13th edition of the Entrepreneur Development Program (PDE), which proposes that members engage in discussions on strategic topics for the performance and perpetuity of the Odebrecht Group. During the meeting, which was held in the municipality of Presidente Tancredo Neves, in the Bahia Southern Lowlands, participants had the chance to learn about the work completed by the Odebrecht Foundation and interacted through dialogues and group dynamics.
Playful activities created by the groups revealed the examples and life histories of the youth benefitted by the Odebrecht Foundation actions. “We did not imagine that we would find youth with such a strong entrepreneurial spirit,” said Melissa Fonseca, member of Odebrecht Agroindustrial. “They are the transformative agents of the society and community in which they live,” she said.
Among the participants were members from all the Group’s businesses that work in different countries and students from the Rural Family Homes, institutions that are part of the Odebrecht Foundation’s Program for Development and Growth Integrated with Sustainability (PDCIS).
Divided into phases, the Entrepreneur Development Program is an Odebrecht Group initiative that has become a space for members to exchange experiences and ideas. Since it was launched in 2003, more than 900 people have participated in PDE.
