In September and October, some 90 Braskem members from all over Brazil traveled to the Bahia Southern Lowlands to learn more about the projects supported by the Odebrecht Foundation’s Tribute to the Future Program – New Generations. Besides a day of class with the students from one of the Family Homes, they toured the Rights and Citizenship Institute (IDC) – an institution that is part of the PDCIS Program, coordinated by the foundation, which implements the initiatives supported by Tribute to the Future.

“I have been an Agent of the Future since last year, but I had never come here and seen a project up-close,” said Crisnei Spitti, from the Camaçari unit in Bahia. “I leave here much more motivated to be able to mobilize new participants,” he said. For Ianaira Neves, from the Polyolefins, Vinyls, Renewables and Europe Unit, also in Bahia, the testimonials by the adolescents were what most called her attention.

“We saw a great deal of similarity with what we learned as part of the Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology (TEO),” said Neves. We talked about the action plan, goals and influencing and being influenced… They are multipliers, natural educators,” she said. Before hitting to road to travel to the region, members had a day of ambiance at the Odebrecht Salvador Office, home to the foundation’s head office. During the last visit, which took place on October 5, member Elizabeth Arnai, from Maceió, was honored as one of the most active Agents of the Future during the 2015 Tribute to the Future campaign.
