With the communication campaign “50 Years – The Infinite Commitment,” the Odebrecht Foundation was the winner for the North and Northeastern phase of the 42nd ABERJE Award in the category of Historical Responsibility and Corporate Memory. The institution competed in the national phase in São Paulo on October 28, with competitors from another three regions in the country.

The result will be announced at the end of November. Developed and implemented by the Foundation’s Communication team with the support of partners and suppliers, the campaign developed the concept of Integrated Communication, joining the efforts of institutional actions, both external and internal. The creation of the commemorative seal, special publication, historical video and exhibit were some of the actions developed. They all recalled a 50-year history marked by challenges and dedication to current and future generations.

Point Of Resistance

“We found a space to gather members, reinforce our social commitment, disseminate our culture and promote transformation through our programs,” explained Graciela Reis, Vice President of Governance & Organization and the professional responsible for Communication. For Graciela, despite the scenario of crisis in 2015 (the year evaluated by the award), the actions were a source of motivation and served as a point of resistance within the Odebrecht Group. “Everything was thought out to add to the brand’s positive image, gaining the loyalty of partners and creating new support for our cause,” she said.

Elected the most important sector-level award in the “Brazilian Communication Map” survey, the ABERJE (acronym for Brazilian Association of Corporate Communication) Award recognizes Brazil’s best corporate communication practices.
